The Belo Monte hydroelectric dam is the world’s fourth largest dam, capable of generating 11,000 MW of energy, and more are planned. Scientists have discovered how to cure blindness in mice. The stem cells in mice could be applied to treat human blindness caused by retinal degeneration in the future.
